The Tow
12 x 16, oil on gallery wrapped canvas
NFS, Private Collection
It is not uncommon to see this at the ski hill, and every single time I see it, it makes me smile. My kids don’t need to get towed anymore, but we went through years of towing them across the hill. When my youngest didn’t have poles yet, the older kids would always lend a hand. The act of extending a pole truly warms my heart.
This was one of my first paintings experimenting with ski groms and so it sits in my private collection.
