Currie Bowl Family

For much of our winters, since the kids were born, we have spent it in Fernie, British Columbia.  It is here that we have made many of our winter family memories.  The kids started on the magic carpet at the base of the hill and eventually worked their way up to the chairlifts.  They started without poles, but worked their way to pole planting turns, and managing the bumpy traverses to the goods.  

There were plenty of firsts on this hill. 

Currie Bowl is one of our favourite bowls in Fernie and the views from there are incredibly beautiful.  We continue to have the great fortune to be able to share it together.  Although we are not in our ski helmets in this painting, we are all wearing our favourite toques.  

And that makes this painting something special.
