If you parent more than one child, who are close in age, then you know that siblings squabble.
But siblings also take care of each other.
These two are fireballs of energy. They are amazing in all their outdoor pursuits, and skiing is no exception. With these kids, the adage “Go big or go home” runs through their veins. They like to ski fast, jump big, and play hard. They are mini-beasts on the hill. And when lil’ sis needs a pole, one appears to help drag her along the flats without hesitation.
I love seeing this family out on the hill. Mom and Dad are amazing athletes, and they spend a great deal of time teaching their girls to find the joy in the challenges provided by their many outdoor pursuits. They are fearless and determined little ones, who love having a ton of fun doing their thing.
On the ski hill, extending a pole on flats is one of the greatest acts of kindness you can choose to do. It amazes me how often I see kids doing this for others. It is truly one of my favourite things to see.
I absolutely loved painting these hardcore little ladies.
And it was super fun to see this piece hanging in its new home❤️!
