I can do it myself!!

Do you have a strong-willed mini?  

Remember putting them on skis for the first time? Carrying all the gear in the sled to the magic carpet?  The coaxing to actually put them on? The words of encouragement when they felt the slip under their feet and they weren’t too sure what to think of it?  Do you remember the cheering and the pocket treats? The back-breaking laps with them between your knees?  

The french fries instead of snowplows? 😬

And how eventually, they actually enjoyed it, and your efforts were rewarded with the Littles throwing their skis over their shoulders, just like everyone else in the parking lot, and when you asked if they wanted help they said, “I can do it myself!”

It’s a liberating, proud moment, but it also hits you hard in the heartstrings, because you’re little ripper is growing up fast!
