The Mighty Moose

Even though we can agree that we don’t want them to grow up too quickly, there is something so absolutely adorable with seeing our tiny humans take on what is normally our tasks as caregivers. When you get your kids out skiing, if you start them very young, you are usually the one lugging the kids and all their stuff to the magic carpet. It’s a lot of work. In fact, you’re usually sweating before you even click your boots into a set of skis. But when your kiddos take an interest, and they start to help out by carrying their own stuff, determined to get to the lifts, showing their independence, it is absolutely, completely, totally, wholly, fully, positively…adorable.

The Mighty Moose is a lift at the base of Fernie Alpine Resort. When you graduate from the magic carpet, that’s the next stop.  This little man is towing his skis up there so that he can get some turns and work his way to the lifts. In a sense, he is a Mighty Moose, lugging his own gear up. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
