Three Little Rippers

You might see these three on the hill in Fernie, but you might not be able to catch them!!  Usually, when I see them, these snowsuits are but a streak.  Their Mom managed to send me a still, so that I could interpret it into a chairlift painting.  

I was very excited to do this project because I’ve had the pleasure to get to know this family over the years.  I watch their parents teach them the importance of active living, and I see the joy that they have from doing it together.  They are determined little rippers, empowered to be future change makers.  If these three go after life, the way they attack lines on the hill, they are sure to move mountains.

Just like the little people riding this lift, this painting is something special.
